RIO germination seeds for canaries

Germinated seeds and grains should be obligatory part in the bird’s diet. In nature birds are feeding by the milk-wax stage of ripeness seeds. That’s why germinated seed mixture is more physiological food for birds. We do not recommend to germinate main seed mixture, because it may include seeds not suitable for soaking. For example, linseeds while soaking exude mucus.

Germinated seeds are well known by their high content of protein, vitamins and minerals. Moreover, the content of biologically important matters in the acrospire is higher than in the grain. This is because acrospire starts to convert microelements, aminoacids to the necessary vitamins and proteins. For example, in comparison with seeds germinates wheat contains vitamin B and C 5 times higher, magnesium and zinc — 3 times higher. New vitamins are synthesized: carotene (provitamin A) and natural antioxidant vitamin E.

Regular consumption of germinated seeds avoids the consequences of unbalanced diet — avitaminosis and anemias different aetiology.

RIO germinated seeds is a special mixture of seeds with a excellent germination capacity. It is balanced to allow all the nutrients to the bird.

  • Rinse abundantly with warm running water and leave in water at room temperature for 8-12 hours;
  • Pour out water, rinse and leave in an open container for 6 hours. Repeat this procedure several times for 1-2 days;
  • Rinse the grains, dry and offer to the bird.
  • Do not leave the feed debris of the germinated seeds for more than 4 hours.
  • Different seeds can have a different germination ability. Offer not germinated seeds with the germinated ones as soft nutritious feed.
  • Do not give the bird long shoots. Shoots with leaves lose their nutritional and taste value.
